The design for these baubles is inspired by a collection of paintings I created last year, drawing inspiration from the beautiful landscapes out west. More than a Christmas decoration, each bauble carries a gentle reminder to connect with and care for Country.

This Christmas, take a moment to connect not only with Country, but with each other and, most importantly, with yourself.

Each bauble is hand painted to order, making every piece unique. Please allow 2–3 weeks for your bauble to be painted and prepared.

A little piece of art, a reminder to connect, and something to treasure each Christmas.

50 Years of Deadly reflects on where I’ve come from and the people who helped pave the way. The two barramundi represent the Toonooba River in Rockhampton, where I was born and raised. The five circles woven through the river symbolise 50 years of NAIDOC, celebrating the strength and achievements of our people.

The meeting places and people symbols honour the Elders who fought for our rights and remind us to keep sharing stories, staying connected and keeping our culture alive. The emu tracks represent my totem, grounding the work in my own connection to Country, family and identity.

Inspired by the kangaroo paw, this piece reflects the important of connection to Country and the quiet moments spent in nature. The flowing forms capture a sense of movement and calm, bringing that same feeling of grounding and peace I experience when I’m surrounded by it.

A gentle reminder to slow down, connect, and appreciate the beauty of Mother Nature.
